Help · Making and printing codes
Blocked codes and changes we didn't publish
Why a code can be blocked for safety or a new address held back, and how to ask for a review.
Why it happens
Every Kifuna code redirects through kifu.to, so one phishing code could get the whole domain flagged and break everyone's printed codes. That's why we check where codes go.
- A held change. A new web address didn't pass our check for phishing and malware, so we didn't publish it. The code keeps working with its last address.
- A block. Scanners see “This link was blocked for safety” instead of the page. That happens when Google's list of dangerous sites names the address, when several people report a new code as a scam, while we review a legal report, or when we block it ourselves.
We email you when either happens, and the code's page in Your codes says why.
Ask for a review
Open the code's page and choose Ask us to review it. Depending on why it stopped, you can:
- Check it again, once you've fixed the page or think the listing has changed.
- Use a different address, contact card website or PDF, which we check like any change.
- Explain why the block is wrong.
A fresh check decides most reviews by itself, in moments. The page updates while it runs, and we email you if a decision comes later.
Reports
Anyone can report a code, and the pages scanners see link to the form. A report gets the code checked again. Reports alone don't block a code you've been using for a while, so nobody can take down your printed code just by reporting it.
Still stuck? Check a code that won't scan, see all help, or contact us.
