QR codes for business cards
Your contact details, one scan away.
A contact-card code puts your name, number, email and website on a phone in one scan, so nobody has to type them in from your card.
Next: style it, create your account, then choose a plan.
What to put in it
- Your contact card. Name, business, title, phone, email, website and address. Scanning offers to save them to the phone’s contacts.
- Or a link. Your booking page, portfolio or website, if that’s where you’d rather send people. The designer switches between the two.
- Only what you’d hand out. Anyone holding the card can scan it, so leave out anything private.
Why a dynamic code
Cards are printed by the hundred and handed out for years. When your number, title or email changes, change the code in Your codes instead of reprinting: every card already out there saves the new details the next time it’s scanned.
- Changes
- Change what it opens in Your codes. We check a new address or file first, usually within seconds, then every printed copy follows. You can undo a change.
- Scans
- Counted by day, device and city.
- If you stop
- Printed codes work to the end of what you paid for, and we email you 7 days before they would stop.
- Short link
- Never given to anyone else, so a printed code never leads to someone else’s page.
Sizing and printing
- Smallest size
- At least 1 inch wide in the style above. A logo or finer dots can make it bigger, so the designer and the download page work it out for your design.
- Distance
- People can scan a code from up to about 10 times its width away.
- Contrast
- Keep it dark on a light background. The designer blocks colors too light to scan in print, even when they look fine on screen, and light codes on dark backgrounds.
- White margin
- Every file comes with a white margin as wide as 4 of the code’s dots. Keep at least 2 of them clear: don’t crop into it or print over it.
- Held in a hand
- Cards are scanned up close, so the smallest size is usually enough.
- Small cards
- Leave the frame off and keep the style simple. A logo or finer dots make the smallest size bigger.
- Test print
- Before you print a lot, print one copy at the real size and scan it with more than one phone, from as far away as people will be.

Every scan counted. No one tracked.
Each dynamic code gets its own report: when it was scanned, on what, and roughly where. See which flyer, table card or window is working. We count scans, not people.
01 · Scan
Someone points their phone at your printed code.

Sends them on at once, then notes the hour, the kind of device and a rough location.
03 · Your page
Opens straight away. Counting never slows a scan down.
