Finding your Google review link

Where to copy the link that opens your business's review box, and why a Google Maps link isn't the same.

Copy the link from your Business Profile

  1. Open your Business Profile, signed in with the Google account that manages it. business.google.com takes you there.
  2. Choose Read reviews, then Get more reviews.
  3. Choose Copy, and paste the link into the designer as it is.

The link usually starts with https://g.page/r/ and ends with /review. Google renames these buttons from time to time, and they can look different on a phone; its own help calls this creating a link to request reviews.

Not a Google Maps link

A link from the Share button in Google Maps, which starts with https://maps.app.goo.gl/, opens your business's profile. People then have to find the reviews and the button for writing one. The review link opens the box for writing a review straight away.

If you paste a Maps link into a review code, the designer says so. It still saves it, in case your profile is what you want people to see.

Printed with the wrong link?

A web link code can change after printing. Open it in Your codes and give it the review link: every card, sticker and receipt already printed opens the review box from then on. See changing a code after printing.

Only ask

Google's rules don't allow offering anything in return for a review, so the card or sign should ask and nothing more.
